Performance of HockGrid® Mining Geogrid (Polyester Geogrid)
Among traditional methods, room-and-pillar or bord-and-pillar mining system, wire mesh or chain link material acts as roof and rib pillar support. However, heavy-loading material which is difficult to transport and construct, its conductivity and oversized mesh might cause a dangerous environment for miners to work in. Fire-retardent HockGrid® is flexible, light-weight, easy to transport and construct, which would enhance the safety of mining area.
